ok then JCB, i'll have to knock off a few points from some stats though, Your DEX will be 18 and your Cons: will be 22. that makes you on 80 points. We will start the game as soon as SM has posted his stats. Ok, that's fine. I think SM's guy should carry a staff to cast spells as his second weapon.

Hey, JCB, you're beginning turn
You come out of the hot forest, You had been playing with the monkeys, swinging from tree to tree, branch to branch. The monkeys had brought you up all your life, your parents were dead, your home burnt and your relatives, your relatives had just disappeared..... you felt grateful to the monkeys, they had looked after you since you were a baby. That night, while you were building shelter near some trees in the forest, you heard a strange sound. It was like some armour clanking, some stranger approaching. The sound got louder and louder, until you could hear it right next to you, you look around and see a 7" tall man approaching you. he comes more forward, until you are staring him in the eyes.
OPTIONS: 1. ask the figure who he is and what he is doing here. 2. draw your staff/dagger and start enchanting/attacking him. 3. run away from the forest and the man.
So, here is your first turn JCB, what is your decision?
P.S. chaoslord, i will post your turn in tomorrow.(17th). see ya for now, JCB, be sure to post in.

ok chaoslord, i'll change it on my character sheet.
anyway, JCB chose to ask the figure who he is and what he is doing here.
RIGHT, ChaoLord's turn NOW!
You had been travelling for quite a while now, wandering about, slaying wild dragons here and there. You had slain a pretty big one a couple of days back, and the wound you got on your chest was still stinging alot. You had ran away from home when you were 8, able to slay dragons was what got you the money to survive. Your father had taught you how to do it. You didn't know if your father was still alive. You were thinking about this for a while as you walked across the wilderness, searching for another dragon to rid of to earn some money. You already had 30 gold pieces, but that would last for a week at max, there wasn't a village for about 5 miles. You reached a fork in the path, from the right fork, you heard a high shout, and a breath, a dragon breath.
OPTIONS: 1. Grab your sword and Charge down the right fork and see what danger was there. 2. wait a while for a "HELP" call. 3. Take the left fork and put the dragon out of your mind.
OK, chaos lord, here is your opening, you make a choice and then i will do shadow master's turn.

ok, you will see what happens then.
Now, sm's turn.
You woke up from sleep, in your bed. You had a nightmare, in which there was a staggering figure, that figure stabbed your parents, stabbed them when you were 5 years old..... You knew what the dream was about, of course, it was your evil brother Calipso, he was 12 years older than you. The Great Evil Wizard had contacted him, and learnt him the way of the dark arts. They called him "The Evil One (TEO)". he had bewitched your brother and made him kill your parents. How you swore to get revenge on them both. After your parents' death, an old wizard took you in as an orphan, he sort of adopted you, as you grew up, the wizard taught you True Magic. This was the total opposite of dark arts, and this was the only magic which could harm the dark arts. This wizard's name was Cryltaur Tabbetang, Cryl for short. He was like a father to you, and you dearly loved him. You got up, out of bed and got dressed in your robes for another day of magic school. You got out of your room but were stopped, there was chaos, chaos everywhere. You asked a nearby student what was wrong, he replied,"What do you mean what is wrong? Thre is chaos, the evil one has sent an army of demons and creatures, he is attacking the city! Cryl has gone to try and save the city, he told us all to stay in here!". At once, either out of bravery or out of love for cryl, you gathered some of your possesions, they included a staff Cryl bought you last year, a short bow you were rewarded for getting rid of an oversized bear, 20 gold pieces and a necklace, it bore an amulet of your family crest. This was your most prized possesion, it allowed you to cast charms without a wand or staff. So, you grabbed your stuff and ran for the entrance hall, through the double doors and out into the city, what was left of the city, buildings burning and falling over. You, didn't know where to go. You were about to set off right, but were stopped by a voice saying,"AKIRA! Where are you going?", you quickly replied that you were trying to go save Cryl. Your friend had called you, he was being taught by a great warrior of the times, and your friend had been learning from him. Your friend replied," You're not going alone!", and within minutes he also burst out from the double doors, equipped with shield, sword and rations he had no doubt stolen from the kitchens in case of emergency. Your friend, he came up to you and asked whether he could go with you, you surveyed him, he looked to be helpful....
OPTIONS: 1. Be grateful for him joining you in your quest. 2. Tell him to get lost. 3. Run away from him.
So, these are your options, i think i know what you are going to go for, so SM, you post in and then we can see what happens to JCB.
P.S. How does everyone like their stories so far? and do you think this sort of game is working out?

I like these stories! This is my favourite thread right now. Thanks, chaoslord! ;D ;D P.S. still waiting for ShadowMaster to post, i wish he'd hurry up, i'm as excited as you lot are about what is going to happen next. And, i'm the one who is making all this up, i just think of something and write it down, if i don't like it, i change it. simple. P.S.S. if you want to know how the battle system works, ask SM, i think he still has the e-mail, actually, i'll just go check in my outbox, Here it is: C1=Character 1 C2=character 2 first, i roll a die, 123 for C1, 456 for c2. let's say c1 goes first, so. he has 50 life points. c1 has 18 strength(18), is fighting with a V. good sword(20 damage) and has2 weapon proficiencies in large sword(40(20 for each)), that equals 78.(18+20+40). The attacker also gets a +20 CHANCE(not damage) on succeding to attack. 18+20+40+20=98. that is a high chance. c2 has 60 life points. now, c2 has 16 strength(16), fighting with an ordinary dagger(5 damage) and has 2 weapon proficiencies in short sword(40), so, that adds up to 61.the defender is also a mage, so he adds an invisible shield giving him a +5 bonus =67. 98-67= 31. so, i roll 2 dice, if the total is 11 or below, the attacker succeeds and takes out 20 damage(large sword) out of c2. if i roll an 12, it is a critical hit, meaning double the amount of damage done(40 damage to 60 life points). ( if the chance is below 12(e.g. 8) if it is 9 or above, it is failure and it is the next character's turn to attack. SO, this is how the battle procedure goes, if u don't understand it, don't worry, i do it fairly, feel free to post this in the thread along with your stats if you want. Right, if that makes any sense, good for you. if it don't, never mind, it's all done fairly, every letter of it. So, gotta go for today, about 10:39 PM here in England, see ya.

hre is the battle system explained a bit better.
1. roll the dice, 1,2 and 3 make C1 go first, 4,5 and 6 make C2 go first.
2. The strength, weapon damage and proficiencies are added up, then, you get a +20 bonus for attacking.
3. Same goes for C2. Note: if anyone does spells, they get a + bonus.
4. Add up the weapon damage and subtract the defending resistance(shields).
5. Subtract the defending score from the attacking, then roll 2 dices, if the total is more than the total from before, C1 misses and C2 starts. If you get the same number, it is a critical hit and a +20 damage on attack.
6. Then C2 turn begins, follow steps from NO.1.
